Every step we take means something.

This is our first walk. In June, it will be 11 months since we lost our Johnathan, and every step we take on June 7 will carry his name, his spirit, and his love forward.

Johnathan believed in giving. He signed up to be a donor because that is who he was at his core, generous, full of life, and always thinking of others. He wore it proudly. He lived it fully. And now it is my mission to carry his legacy forward.

We are walking in NJ Sharing Network's 5K Celebration of Life because we believe every life is worth fighting for. One donor has the power to save 8 lives and enhance the lives of more than 75 others. And yet, over 100,000 people in the United States are still waiting, including nearly 4,000 right here in New Jersey.

For so many families, donation is not just a generous act. It is the difference between life and death.
