Hey, there!

I’m participating in NJ Sharing Network’s 5K Celebration of Life to help raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation.

As many of you know, I lost my sister to a stroke in October 2023. Fortunately, she was an organ donation candidate and was able to donate several of her organs to people in need. Little know fact- less than 1% of registered donors are able to actually do so due to a number of complicating factors! While our family continues to grieve Kathleen and we miss her presence more than words can express, we find a sense of comfort knowing that others live because her sacrifice.

Funds raised through the Sharing Network Foundation support families that have been touched by donation and transplantation as well as research and education to help give the gift of life to those in need of life-saving organ and tissue transplants.
