In 2005 I joined the family of Living Donors when I gave a kidney to my friend Jim Morgenland. Since then I have participated in 14 Transplant Games competitions with Team Liberty to raise awareness about organ donation, and every New Jersey Sharing Network 5K. On June 8th I will again complete in the NJSN 5K with Team Liberty, running against other women in the 70-79 age group. (My first year in this age group!)
