Ocean Grove 5K Celebration of Life
Maeve The Brave
Welcome Back
Team Maeve The Brave!
Maeve Annette Behan passed away on August 13, 2017, a week shy of her fourth birthday. She always wanted to be a superhero and now she truly is. Maeve saved four lives by donating her organs through the NJ Sharing Network. Maeve’s heart saved a one-year-old boy, her liver a one-year-old girl and her kidneys saved two adult men. All four recipients are doing well. We are so proud of her strength.
Losing Maeve has been unbearable, but her organ donation has been the rainbow at the end of the storm. Maeve was a beautiful little girl who touched so many lives. She was a firecracker and liked to stomp her foot to get her point across. She was also a very loving child. She loved to cuddle on the couch sucking her thumb and twirling her hair. She is forever in our hearts.
Please join us on Saturday, May 20th in Ocean Grove, NJ to help keep her spirt alive within us all.
Thank you in advance for your participation and/or donation. Without all your love and support this would not be possible. Remember, Maeve is running right next to us all and is so proud of our efforts. We love you all!
